What services are provided?

Dental On Demand offers dental examinations, assessments, hygiene appointments, huoride treatments,
X-rays, fillings, extractions, and dentures.
​
What is the cost?
​
Dental On Demand Is transparent with pricing and only provides what is necessary for the patient.
Hygiene: Includes comprehensive dental examination, treatment plan, report, oral cancer
screening, oral heath assessment, oral heath advice and dietary advice, scale, polish, fluoride if
necessary, X-rays if necessary. Product recommendations and a dental goodie bag Including
toothbrush & paste - $395
.
Assessment & X-rays: Includes limited dental examination, assessment, report, oral cancer screening,
X-rays, oral health assessment, product recommendations; Including travel costs - $315.
Pricing for fillings, extractions, and dentures varies based on individual needs, with a quote provided
after assessment.

What are the payment methods?
​
Invoices will be emailed after the appointment with payment terms. Dental on Demand accepts credit
card, cash on the day and direct deposit.
​
Health fund: For some health funds, Dental On Demand can offer on the spot claiming, however, most
health funds require full payment upfront, and patients can use their receipt to claim benefits.
Depending on the level of cover, the health fund may pay a portion of the visit.
​
DVA: If eligible, services paid for by the Department of Veterans Affairs will be bulk-billed.
​
How do I book an appointment for my loved one?

What if my loved one needs urgent dental care?
​
In case of urgent dental needs, Dental On demand will prioritise these cases and ensure timely care is
provided.

The founder of Dental On Demand,
Shida, has more than two decades
of experience in the dental field
with a passion for preventative
dental health. Shida's patients
describe her as caring, thorough,
patient and gentle. She has a
compassionate and gentle
approach that many patients find
calming.
Working for over a decade in
South West Sydney, Shida saw a
need for an option for patients who
would transition into Aged Care
Facilities and were no longer able
to visit the fixed dental practice.
This is where Dental On Demand
was born.

In addition to working as an Oral
Health Therapist & Dental
Hygienist, she is a sought out
speaker on Mobile Dentistry and
Aged Care Dentistry. Shida often
volunteers at local facilities to
promote oral health and dental
hygiene. She also is heavily
involved with the Dental Hygienist
Association of Australia (DHAA).

To have our dental visits run smoothly, we kindly ask for

At Dental On Demand, we know it is difficult to move

with our mobile care model.

We can organise a visit for your loved ones in the
comfort of their aged care facility. This service can
be a one-off emergency visit or for regular hygiene
maintenance visits. Our highly qualified dental
professionals will provide gentle care for your loved
ones as they deserve.
We will provide the guardian or trustee a report of
dental findings and recommendations after our visit.
Our team is highly trained in all aspects of the dental
field and pride ourselves on our high quality dental
treatment and immaculate infection control. The
resident can have dental treatment completed in
the comfort of their bed or favourite chair!

preventative dental appointments as convenient as

We will teach your child personalised oral health
instructions so they can bring good dental habits home.

We recommend dental visits from when the first tooth

Our gentle and caring nature makes our dental team are
experienced with treating young patients. We have dental
songs and games, including techniques to help build trust
and bring the fun into dental treatment. Dental On Demand
